Think of Me

I always wonder about my legacy
It's usually just in passing
But I do often
I wonder about what I'm doing for me
And what I'm doing for others
I question have I lived life?
Or have I just lived?
I know that everyone has a number
But what should they do before it comes up?
Do I take a break today?
For there is no tomorrow
Do I reminsce today?
Since I won't have another yesterday
Do I give that dollar today?
So I can ask for one tomorrow
Do I stay up tonight?
For I'll have forever to sleep tomorrow
I always wonder about my legacy
I question it everyday without fail
It's not that I worry about my soul
Or my heart
My will to achieve, to be somebody
I wonder about how people will remember me
Now, what do they see?, If I die will I have a tree?
